You can create and manage countdowns without signing in.
Information Ahead uses
- Countdown content: titles, dates, repeat settings, colors, icons, and other choices you make for your countdowns.
- Photos and artwork: images you choose for countdown cards, used only to display those cards and matching widgets.
- Approximate location: if you allow location access, Ahead uses it to suggest a country holiday calendar.
- Usage telemetry: Ahead may collect limited app usage and performance information to understand reliability and improve the product.
- Advertising data: Ahead may use advertising services to show ads and measure ad delivery.
How information is used
Countdown content, photos, artwork, and approximate location are used for app functionality: creating countdowns, showing cards, suggesting holiday calendars, and rendering widgets. Usage telemetry is used to improve reliability and product quality. Advertising data is used to provide and measure ads when ads are enabled.
iCloud and device storage
Ahead may store your countdown data on your device and may sync it through your Apple iCloud account when Apple platform features are enabled. Just About Normal does not require a separate Ahead account for this.

Tracking, ads, and telemetry
Ahead may include ads and usage telemetry. Where required, Ahead will request permission before using data for tracking across other companies’ apps or websites. If permission is not granted, Ahead will not use your data for that tracking purpose.
